Black Friday Sketches

Sketching is a nice way to pass the time while waiting in lines for hours... Plus people are so tired that they hold very still for long periods of time:)

We got kind of a late start this year- Target at 6am



This is Best Buy around 8am. There was a lady with two sets of bags under her eyes. She looked like a legitimate zombie! For some reason my people got a little more on the cartoony side at Best Buy...



And this is Panera around 11am. Everywhere else the lines were too short for me to break out the sketch book. All in all it was a very pleasant day (including the 2.5 hour nap I took after getting up and shopping since 5am...)

I went on a bike ride and stopped over in the cemetery to sketch for a little and take advantage of the gorgeous weather.

Apparently I'm drawn to various cat-like sculptures. I seem to find a new one to draw (not on purpose) every time I go...
